The figure stepped out from the shadows of the street and unfolded a small map from his pocket. The darkness of the night sky was barely illuminated by the few working streetlights that were scattered around. Stepping into one of the few lit areas, the figure turned out to be a youth in an ill-fitting soldiers outfit and mismatched armor bearing the insignia of the State's United Militia. The empty street wasn't exactly a pretty sight. The city itself wasn't any better, but this street had been one of the routes out, and therefore hit the hardest. The sky above the city was cloudy, but the clouds were the color of dirt and dust. It gave the appearance of the city being in some old photo, the air itself tinged with sepia. Howdy folks! just an amateur writer here, one who thinks his stuff is at least halfway decent. I can't draw at all, but I can see a picture and think of a story for it. I'm good at character development, I know how to properly critique stories if I'm focused enough, and I enjoy making friends from places that aren't oklahoma and asking about what it's like. I will do in depth critiques of writing if asked, but don't expect perfection.

When I'm not writing or in school, I'm usually doing homework or playing random video games. Right now I'm still playing The Witcher 2. I play DnD and Magic: The Gathering. with my friends, hang with my girlfriend, write when I have time . Sent me a note or comment or something, I do enjoy making online friends. and talking to them.

New short story, but need help.

So, for over a year now i've had a story bump around my head about a younger teen who tries to commit suicide. He is rescued by an unkown stranger, who leads him on a short trip though different scenes and places. And eventually decides not to commit. Well, I'm back from my seven weeks at camp, and boy do I feel like crap. On my way home, I got really sick, and I've been sick ever since with fever, tiredness, dizziness, coughing, headaches, and back pain. It has not been very fun. Camp was great as always though, I made new friends and hung with old ones. I learned and got into the card game Magic: the gathering, after a lot of peer pressure. I also learned a new way to play DnD called GURPS. Which is much simpler and more realistic. I got tan, lost weight, and was stuck in the woods with no internet. I taught kids of all ages fishing and fly fishing and had a blast as always. I wouldn't

All right, to anyone that follows me, this will be the last post until I get back in July. I'm sorry I haven't been more active, but TV shows, books, and video games have been taking up my time. On the plus side, I plan on having at least two short stories, maybe a poem, and three chapters written by the time I get back, So there is that.
